Long exposure on the Rio Nava

The Rio Nava flows through the pilgrimage site Santuario de Nossa Senhora da Abadia, whose tributaries with their moss-covered stones offer beautiful motifs for long-term exposures. But some manual work was also necessary here, as autumn had already left many traces in the form of withered leaves and fall wood. It was worth it to expose the beautiful mosses, who were certainly happy about this photo project.

A gray filter was used for the shots in order to be able to work with the smallest possible f-number. This avoids possible diffraction blurs that can occur with digital cameras and larger glare. Aperture 8 and smaller are ideal for avoiding diffraction blurring.
